Background

On November 27, 2024, IML Security was contacted by TD Bank Facility Manager Rolando Valentine following a major incident at the bank’s Wappingers Falls branch. A vehicle had driven entirely through the building, causing significant damage to both the exterior and interior storefronts. The branch was immediately rendered vulnerable, and the incident required urgent action to protect the site and initiate repairs.

Phase 1: Emergency Response
Immediately following the call, IML Security gathered essential site details and dispatched its emergency response crew. Within hours, they completed a full board-up of the affected areas, securing the branch from additional damage, intrusion, or liability concerns.

Phase 2: Site Assessment and Proposal Development
Within 48 hours, IML conducted a detailed site evaluation and developed a comprehensive reconstruction proposal with exact specifications and a project timeline.

Phase 3: Proposal Approval and Scheduling
The proposal was quickly approved by the facility manager. IML then coordinated procurement, fabrication, and labor scheduling to align with TD Bank’s operational needs.

Phase 4: Reconstruction
Installation was scheduled to minimize disruption, with the exterior storefront completed on Friday, January 24, 2025, followed by the interior storefront on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
